Interns Tour Solar-Powered Desalination System

The 2023 IESTE Interns toured the solar-powered desalination system being developed by Dr. Hickenbottom and colleagues at UArizona on April 19, 2023. The tour included an in-depth discussion of operational aspects of the system, recent challenges, and longer term research goals. Interns had the opportunity to ask Dr. Hickenbottom detailed questions about the system. Two interns will be working with Dr. Hickenbottom this summer and are looking forward to being part of both data analysis and hands-on system troubleshooting.
