We are looking for interns to take part in two areas of the company; installation and engineering. On the installation side, we are looking for someone to harness up and perform solar installations from the ground up. NeRD will be responsible for the supervision, safety and training of each intern on NeRD sites.
Internship Requirements for this Role:
- Ability to work outside for extended periods of time
- Flexible work schedule - including a variable start time (from 5am to 8am)
- Work with diverse teams and teams
- Ability to work on a roof
- Ability to climb a 24 foot ladder
- Has reliable transportation to get to and from job sites.
Secondly, we are looking for an intern to take part in the updating of AHJ Solar and Electrical Standards/ Requirements as well as working occasionally in autocad to create plansets based on contractual expectations.
- Strong communication skills
- Experience with computer software such as Google Sheets, Google Drive and Google Calendar
- Experience with AutoCad is a plus but not a requirement
