Dan Thelen

Dan is a retired from both the Air Force and a career in government contracting. He has expertise in project management, budget controls, compliance with contract requirements, and team building. His contracting experience was primarily related to new construction and renovation projects for the Government, both with the Department of Defense and the Department of Veterans Affairs. His Air Force experience included working as a water treatment operator, technical training instructor, food service manager, lodging manager, marketing and training manager, and overseeing recreational activities. Dan has a bachelors degree in Management from Park College and a Master’s in Business Administration from Troy State University. He has also attended classes at both Pima Community College and the University of Arizona and believes coordination between these institutions will pay dividends to the solar industry.
